Cauliflower crust for pizza& … hmm& … I wasn’t sure whether it was a good idea to try it. But changed my mind after polishing off this pizza. One of the tasty ways of eating cauliflower includes is this pizza. Using cauliflower is a guilt-free way to enjoy pizza with family often.

Cauliflowers are good source of fiber and vitamins. Its ingredients may help strengthen bones, boost the cardiovascular system, and prevent cancer.

Cauliflower crust pizza is Keto friendly, gluten-free, grain-free and a low-carb alternative.

I usually make Cauliflower rice at home to replace rice. It doesn’t take much time to cook riced cauliflower.

I used fresh cauliflower for the recipe. If using frozen cauliflower rice thaw and squeeze the moisture out completely. As for the pizza toppings I used what I had at the time, there are endless possibilities you can try.

I used a cast iron skillet for baking, pizza holds well in it and was delightfully crispy.

Tips

  • Removing the moisture completely out of cauliflower rice will make the pizza crispy.
  • I directly baked the riced cauliflower in oven without steaming because cauliflower cooks quickly.
  • Grease parchment paper well with a bit of oil and the pizza will be easy to peel off it after it’s cooked.
