Blackberry smoothie bowl are great for breakfast or snack.Smoothie bowls are fun to make with a variety of berry or mixed fruit. Nuts add crunchiness to the bowl. It is super easy, perfect for kids. This smoothie bowl is full of antioxidants.

Smoothie bowls are slightly thicker and has ice cream like consistency. Hence, my kids loves this colorful smoothie bowl.

To begin with, blend milk, blackberry, banana, almond powder and ice. Then, scoop the smoothie in a bowl. Finally, add toppings.

I sneak some veggies like carrots, celery or beets in the smoothie for a complete breakfast. My kiddo enjoys decorating her bowl with her favorite toppings.

  • Protein powder can be added to the smoothie.

  • The smoothie goes well with any nuts or seeds toppings.
  • A cup of spinach will give a healthier and greener smoothie.
  • Some veggies like carrots, celery or beets go well in smoothie.
  • Coconut milk, yogurt, almond milk are milk alternatives.
  • Almond powder and water or cashew nut powder can be used instead of milk.
  • Add Avocados for creamier smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blackberry fresh/frozen
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 12 cup milk
  • 1 tsp almond powder optional
  • ice cubes optional

Toppings

  • 14 cup blackberry
  • 12 banana sliced
  • 14 cup kiwi sliced
  • 1 tsp sliced almond
  • 1 tsp desiccated coconut

Instructions

  • Add blackberry, sliced banana, milk and almond powder to a blender. Add ice cubes if needed. Smoothie bowls are slightly thicker and has ice cream like consistency.
  • Scoop the smoothie in a bowl. Add toppings of your choice.
  • The toppings I used are blackberries, banana, kiwi, sliced almonds and coconut.
